Burgers
Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Most burger restaurants in the United States often serve hamburgers with French fries and other condiments. If you have a liking for burgers in the United States, then you won't be disappointed. Best fast food french fries around. Love getting the double cheese burger combo. Always speedy service, but not always with a smile Love the music playing loud out of outdoor speakers. Lots of 50s and 60s tunes. Wish they had a sit-down area inside!

I've been a fan of B-Bop's for quite a few years now so my opinion on this establishment may be biased, but for my money I can't think of a better fast food burger in Central Iowa. My go-to order here is a #2 - double burger, plain + cheese and fries. One small gripe is that cheese must be ordered separately and costs an extra quarter or so. It can be disappointing if you're new to B-Bop's and forget to ask for cheese. However, I've always found that B-Bop's has a higher quality burger than other larger chain restaurants. The burgers are always juicy and in the dozens of times I've eaten here I've only had a few that tasted like they were anything less than hot off the grill. The most common complaint I hear about B-Bop's is that their fries are bad. People usually love them or hate them. I actually like them quite a bit, especially when they're served really fresh (which isn't always the case). No matter your stance on the fries, the burger is the main event and should occupy most of your concern, anyway. Another thing I love here is that I always leave feeling genuinely full - not that gross full feeling you get when you leave McDonald's and then are hungry again in 15 minutes. Chalk this up to higher quality ingredients. The chicken sandwiches are good as well. Service can vary but in my experience is typically better than similar restaurants. I wouldn't try to make the argument that there aren't better burgers in Des Moines, because there definitely are. But I don't think you can find a better burger at this low price point. B-Bop's does everything Burger King, Donny's, and Wendy's do, but does it better and at the same price.

This is a good place to go for a burger. They are very salty. When we went there this week, we couldn't use a BBop's coupon off of our phone. We were told we had to print it out. Seems like they should take a coupon off a phone like most other places.

While the food is decidedly different, this might be Iowa's version of "In-N-Out". For the price point, the sandwiches come dressed nicely and are always hot and fresh. I've never waited for a terribly long time in the drive-thru line and the product is very consistent from restaurant to restaurant. The portions are generous and B'Bops uses normal straight cut french fries--not the "natural cut" fries that seem to be increasingly popular amongst the major chains. If a burger isn't your thing, B'Bops also serves a very nice tenderloin--its not too thick, nor is it too thin.

This place is the shit. I dont know what kinda special sauce they put in that single deluxe cheeseburger, but its so GOOD. the meat they use for the patties so fresh and juicin with flavor. Food always comes out REALLY fast. B-Bops's youzz da shitttt

If you're looking for an old-fashioned burger complete with fries & a shake, this is your place. Pretty basic menu, but awesome fast food. Wish they had one here in NC. Certainly wasn't what I expected from a drive-thru as I wanted to grab something quick & was expecting the usual, but it was better than expected, which made me want more. I'll definitely dine here again when I visit the area.

Tried a burger here for the first time---just a single, no fake cheese. Was surprised how good it was for a fast food joint. The only thing about it I didn't love was that the lettuce is all shredded and falls out of the burger. The meat patty is larger than the bun. Next time I'm in the mood for a quick burger, I'll try this place again.

I was somewhat torn between 2 and 3 stars, but my last visit pushed me over the edge towards two. Lets start with the fires. The first thing I taste of these obviously frozen potatoes is stale oil. It was the same way on my first two visits as well. That oddly bitter and greasy stale taste is clearly recognizable. If you are eating here, skip the spuds. These burgers have potential, but are brought down by really sloppy execution. One major complaint is un-melted cheese. It's baffling how b-bops can get that wrong but it happened not once but twice. Next, this joint values speed over making a clean burger. I've had my toppings be placed with reckless abandon. They are way too heavy handed with all liquid toppings. I've had goopey mayo and mustard dripping off the sides of my burger. I had to wipe it down to be acceptable! Yuck! The beef was just fine when its fresh, and the portions were strong. This still does not make b-bops recommended in any way. They clearly try to nickel and dime you. They don't offer ketchup with your order, some ranch was 50 cents (plus tax HA!) and there are no napkins to access on the outside. If you want some cheese, you need to pay for it making a double cheeseburger alone just about 6$. 6$ you say? Can't I get a well executed basic double burger at Z Burger for 6.99? You can and you should, unless you are blindly nostalgic for this place which has clearly gone down hill. Or your children are too squeamish for the horror theme.

Totally classic, if you go try to eat outside, it just brings back the nostalgia of burger joints. Burgers are dope, chocolate shakes are bomb, and the fries are meh. Oh and it is right on the greenbelt bike trail, great place to stop for quick lunch.

This place is certainly a guilty pleasure. When I need a fast food fix, and can stand the guilt, the double with cheese fits the bill - and fills the arteries. A little salty and always hot.

As usual, the best burger in town. Its also on the bike trail, so after many miles i stopped off to have a single with cheese and a large water. The girl said she has to give small waters but i can have two. So i got 1 burger and two small waters, two lids and two straws. Really bbops? I dont get it, im a customer. Your restaurant is on a bike trail, bikers are thirsty for h-2-0. Can someone explain the theory behind this ?

I live in texas and i miss bbops soooo much. The best single in town. Im not tiny bit their double is big. I love their frys and their ranch is homemade plus they have cheese sauce as well. Its greasy, fresh, and fast.

Last night I dreamed about the decadently sloppy combo #2 (no onions, no tomatoes please) with cheese. Ahh B-Bop's, I loved you. When I lived in West Des Moines, I missed eating at Portillo's locations across Chicagoland, now that I'm in Chicago again, I miss B-Bop's.. it's a no win situation. Nothing is better than a double cheese burger and fries that when completely annihilated cause the consumer to be paralyzed for the better part of an hour.
